A Career Built in Real-World IT and Leadership
Peter Farrar built his career through the fast-moving world of Information Technology, progressing through Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 support environments into network engineering, leadership and senior management.
His experience includes responsibility for business critical systems, service delivery, escalation management, people leadership and performance improvement, including senior roles at the US Senate and across global finance and defence organisations in the UK.
Those experiences became the direct foundation for Leadership: The Culture Fix, a practical playbook for managers, leaders and organisations looking to fix workplace culture, build accountability and drive real performance improvement. Peter Farrar Author brings that firsthand knowledge directly to the page.
Photography, Craft and Creativity
Alongside leadership and business writing, Peter Farrar has a lifelong passion for photography, combining technical skill with artistic creativity. He trained over 300 photographers in Charlotte, North Carolina, and built a successful wedding and portrait photography business in the United States.
That experience — and the frustration of there being no single, comprehensive resource, led directly to The Complete Photography Field Guide, a 538-page practical resource covering everything from camera fundamentals to building a photography business, including UK and US photography law.
Music, Film and Travel
Peter enjoys music from the 1970s to today, live concerts, cinema and travel.
His interests range from rock and pop to modern crossover country.
